Christmas Time, Again

As I sit here listening to Michael Tait "Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire", Michael Crawford "O Holy Night," and Tom Petty "It's Christmas Time, Again," I am anxiously awaiting Christmas. I just keep picturing people skating on Ice in the middle of ponds, people having snowball fights, sledding, (though I have only done it once) the cold weather (oh wait, it still is!) and just how it seems the whole atmosphere changes when Christmas rolls around. And, I mean, what better than to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour! Luke 2:10-14

A Dinner Party for 11!!

I was challenged to think of 10 people (dead or alive) I would want to have a dinner party with. So, my friends, I challenge you to the same. Mine were (for my friend) no surprise...

1. Jesus Christ, first and foremost!
2. J. R. R. Tolkien, because I think it would be absolutely awesome to meet him.
3. Andrew Lloyd Webber, Same as above
4. Michael Crawford, I would just want him to sing, and sing...and I think it would be cool to meet him.
5. Kevin Max, He has an awesome voice and cool song and well he is...nevermind.
6. Toby Mac, he is cool and I want him to sing "Catch a fire" or "Whoopsi-Daisy" whatever you want to call it.
7. Michael Tait, He is so talented and I would not call him a dog!
8. Johnny Depp, I always thought a guy with eyeliner would look scary...however, he seems to be able to pull it off!!.
9. Orlando Bloom...~*~Sigh!~*~ enough said.
10. Paul McCartney, because I share a birthday and because he is cool!!!

Hit with reality...

What a wonderful thing to be hit with, no?¿? We had to put my doggie to sleep today. To some of you (Cowprincess and Ty) this might come as a shock. I will miss him horribly...but I know it was for the best. I was also hit with the reality of the fact that I have 2 and a half weeks or so to memorize 3 pieces of music, (one that I just got yesterday) and two scripts!! GRRR!! I really wish I had more time!! I think I'll be fine, but the music I just got yesterday is worrying me!! Though, I should not worry, I am doing this for God's Glory...not my own. It will all work out if it is His Will (Romans 8:28)...look at me...sitting here writing (well, actually typing...but that is not the point.) all these things I need to do...and I am sitting at the computer...I need to get my priorities straight! What A Blessing...

Yesterday, I went to practice tennis for convention. My friend (TessieGirl) is signed up for it as well, so we went together. It was a really ummm...ugly looking outside. It looked like it was going to storm. So I was praying the rain would hold off until we were done. After like 30 minutes some guys from GHS showed up, so we decided to move to another court. Then the girls tennis coach (I am assuming) told my mom they had the courts, but she let us play with them. We played two girls and beat them. Then the coach sent two other girls to play us.
So all that was an experience in itself . Then while we were on our way home it started raining. It was such a blessing that it did not start raining while we were there!
